New York.- Journalist Yenny Polanco Lovera, president of the Dominican Association of Tourist Press (Adompretur), received three recognitions from institutions in support of her work as president of the organization. She was presented with the recognitions by the United States Congress, the New York City Council, and the State Assembly of the City of New York.
The recognitions also acknowledge her work as a professional in social, tourism, artistic and cultural, and corporate journalism, as well as for her program “Fiestas y Personalidades” which has been on air for 18 years in the Dominican Republic and currently broadcasts on Latinos TV for the United States and the world.
In her speech, Yenny Polanco Lovera expressed gratitude to the Dominican leaders residing in the United States for their support to the Latino community for personal and professional development.
“I feel honored to receive these awards because in my career of more than 20 years, I have contributed quality content in every area I have worked as a communicator and union member. We all have the duty to contribute, educate, inform, and transform the world with our good works,” Polanco Lovera said.
