The forum has been organized for October 23, slated to kick off from 9 am. It’s designed as a platform to exchange ideas and experiences where key participants can delve into crucial topics encapsulating smart destinations. The forum will also tackle the role of electric mobility in reshaping the tourism sector, with a particular emphasis on challenges that are unique to the Dominican Republic and Punta Cana.
“With the second THEMAG Forum, we aim this year to explore with key industry players, the potential of smart technologies to revolutionize tourist experiences, enhance sustainability, and drive economic growth in the tourist hotspot of Punta Cana and the wider Dominican Republic”, stated Marcelo Ballester, Director-Editor and a key member of the event organization.
Key figures gathered at the THEMAG Forum from the tourism sector
The 2nd THEMAG Forum will welcome technology experts, government officials, vice ministers, influential public sector individuals, directors from leading supplier companies, executives from the tourism and transportation sectors, and heads of hotel associations. These individuals will discuss the future of tourism in the country and Punta Cana in expert panels with topics such as “Transport and Tourism: The Challenge of Sustainable Mobility” and “Challenges and Opportunities: The Path to a Smart Tourist Destination”, along with other significant subjects, informed Betina Rey, the Forum’s producer.
