BÁVARO, Dominican Republic – Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort has been recognized as the Best Wedding Hotel in Latin America at the 2025 Latin American Wedding Awards (LAWA), cementing its status as a premier destination for romance and luxury events.
The resort also claimed top honors at the first edition of the Dominican Republic Event Awards, winning in three major categories: Best Wedding Venue Hotel in the Eastern Region, Best Wedding Hotel in the Dominican Republic, and Best Wedding Hotel in Latin America.
These distinctions underscore Paradisus Palma Real’s continued leadership in the region’s romance and events tourism sector. The 2025 LAWA ceremony gathered top industry professionals from 12 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean—including representatives from the U.S., Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. The event was coordinated by Pedro Vargas and directed by Leonardo Artigas, General Director of LAWA.
