CEPM Opens Commercial Office in Punta Cana
The Consorcio Energético Punta Cana–Macao (CEPM) has opened a new punta cana commercial office at Plaza Friusa Center, located along Avenida España in Bávaro. The inauguration took place on Thursday afternoon and was attended by local and provincial authorities, business leaders, and energy sector executives.

Ramón Antonio Ramírez, mayor of the Verón–Punta Cana Tourist District, and Senator Rafael Barón Duluc Rijo, representing La Altagracia province, were among the attendees. Their presence underscored the importance of the new office in supporting regional development and public-private collaboration.
Oscar San Martín, CEPM’s general manager and chief executive since February 2026, led the company’s delegation. He described the facility as a strategic point for clients to process payments and complete account-related procedures.
The new office is expected to improve access to energy services for residents and businesses in the Punta Cana–Bávaro corridor. The event also served as a networking opportunity for local authorities, energy executives, and tourism-related enterprises.
Punta Cana firefighters recently enhanced their emergency response skills through a regional training initiative, reflecting broader efforts to strengthen local infrastructure and services.
