Delta and Hyatt Launch Punta Cana Travel Rewards Program
Elite members of Delta SkyMiles and World of Hyatt can now earn Punta Cana travel rewards through a new partnership set to begin in the coming months. The collaboration allows qualifying travelers to accumulate miles and points across both brands during the same trip.

Delta Medallion members will earn Delta miles on qualifying spending at participating Hyatt hotels in Punta Cana, including Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and the upcoming Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana. At the same time, they will continue to receive eligible World of Hyatt benefits. Hyatt elite members will earn World of Hyatt points on Delta flights to Punta Cana, along with SkyMiles benefits.
The program initially targets elite members only. Specific earning rates and eligibility criteria will be announced closer to launch.
Hyatt has significantly expanded its all-inclusive presence in the Dominican Republic and across the Caribbean. In addition to Punta Cana, Hyatt operates properties in Montego Bay, Aruba, Cancun, and the Riviera Maya. More than 20 Bahia Principe all-inclusive resorts have recently joined the World of Hyatt portfolio, increasing travel options for elite members.
Delta serves Punta Cana with nonstop flights from major U.S. hubs including Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Boston. The airline has expanded capacity and launched new routes to the Caribbean in recent months, including increased service to Nassau and Barbados.
This partnership could enhance the travel experience for frequent visitors to Punta Cana by combining flight and hotel rewards into a single, integrated loyalty offering.
