Santo Domingo, RD.– Arajet, the low-price Dominican airline, carried out the first edition of its social responsibility program called “My first flight” with the aim of offering the opportunity to Dominicans who have never traveled to live the experience of getting to know another country.

Víctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet, indicated that this initiative is part of the airline’s mission to democratize the skies of the Americas through its new and modern Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft and with the warm customer service that characterizes them. .

“At Arajet we assume the commitment to fulfill the dreams of Dominicans who do not know a plane and who have never left their country, and thanks to this program we will go to each province of the Dominican Republic to give them the opportunity to fulfill this desire in a way free,” Pacheco explained.

Likewise, Marcial Reyes, mayor of La Caleta, thanked that this program was started in that municipal district of the community of Boca Chica, which is the closest to the Arajet operations center, which is located at the Las Américas International Airport.

The program also has the support of the National Passport Directorate, which has established a special service for Dominicans who are selected in the My First Flight program, so that they can access to have their first passport expeditiously.

My First Flight is being developed by the company LPF and will be running for about 6 months, going week by week to the different provinces of the country until reaching 32 and a total of 192 beneficiaries.
