Miami, Florida.- The specialized magazine AmericaFinance granted two recognitions to Banreservas: “Dominican Republic Bank of the Year” and “Caribbean Bank of the Year”, after analyzing qualitative and quantitative factors such as financial indicators and the opinion of prominent market analysts.
The general administrator of Banreservas, Samuel Pereyra, upon receiving the awards in this city, stated that these distinctions constitute an impetus to continue offering extraordinary service and creating products that satisfy the needs of their clients, while supporting the productive sectors and national development.
He added that the entity has remained the main bank in the national and regional financial system, thanks to the level of commitment of its collaborators and the loyalty of its personal, business and corporate banking clients.
Taimur Ahmad, CEO of the financial magazine LatinFinance, congratulated Pereyra and his team for this achievement and expressed that the Bank of the Year award has a tradition of identifying Caribbean and Latin American institutions that achieve excellence in their local or regional markets.
The awards were presented during the 57th meeting of the Latin American Federation of Banks (FELABAN), held in Miami, Florida. The event was attended by Banreservas executives, José Manuel Almonte, administrative deputy administrator; Fraysis Moronta, senior general director of Human Capital, Processes and Operations, and José Obregón, senior general director of International Business and Corporate Governance of Banreservas.
Other awards and distinctions
Last October, the prestigious magazine also awarded Banreservas “Project and Infrastructure Bank of the Year for the Caribbean”, in recognition of the volume and diversity of the transactions carried out, as well as the quality of execution and the resulting success of these financial operations.
In November 2022, it granted two important recognitions to Banco de Reservas: “Bank of the Year of the Dominican Republic” and “Best Bank for SMEs in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
