Punta Cana, RD.- Next September 23 at 4:20 PM, Bar Soles in Punta Cana will be the setting for “CANNATALK Punta Cana”, an event that seeks to illuminate and educate about various aspects of cannabis, from its use in the post-surgical process to its influence on sexuality.
The guests for this edition of CANNATALK Punta Cana are:
Dr. Santos Arismendy, double certified plastic surgeon, who will speak about “Cannabis in the Post-Surgical Process”, addressing topics such as chronic pain, inflammation and recovery.
Pía Vasquez, clinical sexologist and sex educator, will discuss “Cannabis and Sexuality”, exploring cannabis as a sexual enhancer and its use in the treatment of sexual dysfunctions.
Manny Infused CHEF will offer an educational talk on “Cannabis Gastronomy,” featuring a creative fusion of cannabis and gastronomy, culinary techniques, precise infusions and sensory experiences without live cooking demonstrations.
Vikiana Reyes, from the Chemistry and Environmental Science Department Cannabis Education at New York University, will speak on the “Chemistry of Cannabis”, detailing its components and effects, advanced chemical analysis, properties and therapeutic potential, terpenes and benefits of CBD.
The event is sponsored by the CannaReD foundation, an NPO dedicated to education, development and promotion of public policies for access to the cannabis plant for medicinal use, industrial use and scientific research in the Dominican Republic. CannaReD is a community of Dominicans that seeks to influence the cannabis regulatory process in the country, promoting scientific research, education, awareness and support for patients.
