Dominicana SkyHigh Adds Santo Domingo – San Juan Route to Booking Engine with Appealing Rates and Schedules

Post its successful launch of the Santo Domingo – Aguadilla flight, SkyHigh Dominicana is now offering the Santo Domingo – San Juan route in Puerto Rico through their booking and sales platform. This new route aims to enhance the connection between the two Caribbean countries and simultaneously promote tourism for both of them.

As a reminder, on September 3, we informed you that the airline had begun selling tickets for this route to travel agencies after a five year hiatus (beginning in 2019). SkyHigh has now set a convenient timetable suitable for families, executives, and people traveling for either business or leisure from both capital cities. Each city provides plenty of offers and attractions such as cultural, historical, gastronomic, and urban spots as well as nearby beaches.

SkyHigh DominicanaThe ticket prices start from US$299.92, with all taxes included (availability based on class and other baggage details). Flights depart daily from the Dominican capital at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in the Puerto Rican capital at 3:30 p.m., the total duration being one hour. The return flight departs at 4:30 p.m. and reaches the destination by 5:30 p.m.

This results in SkyHigh Dominicana offering a total of 9 weekly flights to Puerto Rico, connecting the western part and the central metropolitan area. Last Thursday, during the Aguadilla flight announcement, the possibility of a future connection with Punta Cana was discussed, but is currently being negotiated and its final details have yet to be confirmed.

SkyHigh Dominicana is focussed on enhancing air connectivity within the Caribbean through its main operations center at the José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport of the Americas (AILA – JFPG). They aim to connect to more destinations, with plans to even extend their operations to the North American continent.

At the upcoming IFTM Top Resa in Paris, SkyHigh Dominicana will be showcasing its regional routes to interested companies for establishing connectivity, as well as to air service suppliers, and many other airline industry participants that are part of such a world-class event.
