The community of La Ceiba is a place belonging to the El Salado section, of the Municipal Tourist District of Verón Punta Cana, in the province of La Altagracia. It was organized under a law created in 2015. This community has experienced growth due to its productive, economic and sociocultural development. It has primary and secondary schools, a basketball court, a police station, and a police station. Its inhabitants live from agriculture, livestock, and the activities associated with tourism that takes place in Uvero Alto. It has great natural beauty due to the greenery of its trees, which contrasts with the kindness of its people.
