Veron Punta Cana Fire Department and Panama Launch Joint Training Pact
The Veron Punta Cana Fire Department and Panama’s Benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday. The agreement was signed by Mayor Ramon Ramirez, Veron Punta Cana Fire Department General Superintendent Colonel Miguel Angel Alvarez, and Panama’s national director, Colonel Victor Raul Alvarez Villalobos. The collaboration aims to strengthen ongoing training, institutional exchange, and emergency response protocols.
The congress focuses on technical development, modernization of rescue teams, and gender integration in firefighting operations. Panama’s delegation includes high-ranking officials and instructors like Commander First Chief Colonel Margarita Ducreux, who are sharing expertise with Dominican fire personnel.
