Island of Light in San Soucí
Isle of Light, the most important alternative music festival in the Dominican Republic, is ready to celebrate its eighth edition this Saturday, March 9, with a lineup of artists with attractive rhythmic colors and musical proposals.
With a stage at Faro Punta Torrecilla, San Soucí, the doors will be open from 2:00 in the afternoon, where fans will be able to access and discover the three available stages, Isle of Light Stage, Radio Bizarro Stage and Mishu Stage, to experience a very varied musical download that, on this occasion, includes everything from rock, urban, electronic to tropical.
Echoes of Women on the 8th at the Banreservas Cultural Center
On March 8, International Women's Day at 7 pm, the Banreservas Cultural Center calls for the event “Ecos de Mujer”, a Poetry-Music-Painting recital with live musical accompaniment.
During the evening, poems by prominent Dominican writers such as Abigaíl Mejía, Camila Henríquez Ureña, Delia Weber, Melba Marrero de Munne, among others, will be read.
