Punta Cana Hosts Third International Real Estate Fair

Santo Domingo, RD.- In an event that brought together all the key players in the Dominican real estate sector, the third Dominican Real Estate Fair “Real Estate Summit 2023” was presented this Friday.

The meeting, which served to enrich the country’s real estate proposals, was held at the facilities of the Westin Punta Cana hotel, located in the aforementioned tourist area.

The event also proved to be a resounding success in promoting clarity and transparency within the powerful property sales and acquisition industry. Investment expectations may reach 20MM in the coming months.

“We pride ourselves on being the only platform that brings together all stakeholders, including bankers, financial advisors, lawyers, tax advisors, developers, real estate professionals and influencers, for a weekend, promoting clarity and transparency in the real estate sector of the Dominican Republic,” said Mr. Marcus Boereau, Founder and CEO of IMAR Ventures, a foreign investment facilitation company in the Caribbean.

The fair, which took place over two days, was marked by panel discussions and interesting presentations and project visits. One of the central themes that emerged was the urgent need for transparency and clarity in real estate transactions, a critical factor in building trust among investors and ensuring sustainable growth.

They were attended by the renowned international real estate expert Ms. Barbara Warren, the CEO of Gesproin Group Mr. Javier Donoso and the Bávaro Branch Manager of Scotiabank Mr. Ramón Marte as special guests among others. Also present were Scotiabank as a financial institution; Alter Legal secured the legal part; Yellow Key for property management, JD Group for tax portion; Renowned developers such as Gesproin, Noval Properties, Grupo Perassan, Frangipani Property and the Blue Caribbean real estate agency were present to present the latest real estate projects to the elite group of investors from more than 10 countries who attended the event.

As the fair concluded, there was a palpable sense of optimism regarding the future of the Dominican real estate market. The commitment of all stakeholders to transparency and clarity promises to attract more foreign investment, stimulate economic growth and solidify the country’s position as a leading destination for real estate development.
