Economic benefits for the Dominican Republic
As reported, the economic benefits for the country from this renegotiation are estimated between 1,905 and 2,155 million dollars, including an initial payment of 775 million dollars for the renewal of the right and an investment program of 830 million dollars to improve the airport infrastructure.
New terminal construction at AILA
The investment program of the new contract will include the construction of a new terminal at AILA with an investment of 250 million dollars and a 10% participation in the benefits for the State from 2030, and 20% from 2035 always. traffic estimates are exceeded.
Traffic capacity will increase
The AILA has a current capacity to receive 6.5 million a year, the new infrastructure will allow it to accommodate 8.4 million passengers, which is the estimate for the year 2030 based on the increase in visitors to the country.
Funds for works in Santo Domingo and San Cristóbal

Investment 2015-2023
Since 2016, under the management of VINCI Airports, AERODOM has invested more than $102 million in maintenance, improvements and expansion of its airports, with recent projects such as a new cargo terminal at AILA and the construction of the central atrium at the same terminal.
In terms of fiscal contribution, AERODOM has paid more than 341 million dollars in taxes to the Dominican State since 2015, being an important taxpayer in the tourism industry.
