The fourth version of the Cana Rock Cup was held in the Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay in Punta Cana where the kickoffs were made by the group Caribbean Golf Squadan initiative that promotes golf courses throughout the country and sports tourism.
The veteran and internationally famous golfer kevin laframboise director of the Caribbean Golf Squad made the first honorary serve followed by john oliver, patrick hafner and Tomás Ompré.
“The Cana Rock Cup is an event that has grown a lot since it began in 2019, thanks to the collaboration of all those involved, through sport we seek to integrate and share with all the company’s allies, clients, brokers, construction companies , golf is a sport with a lot of development in the country”, he expressed liria martinezcompany executive.
More than 110 players gathered for the long-awaited cup, who participated in different categories and in pairs. The tournament on this occasion was run by the Dominican Golf Federation (fedogolf).
The winning cup was obtained by the couple Enrique and Luis Jose Rodriguezthose who were followed by category awards, in A, first place was won Patrick Hafner and Tomás Ompré; second place was taken Victor Hida and Edward Sisterwhile the third Juan André Dilomex and pay point.
In category B, first place was obtained by Guillermo Melo and Tusides Santanathe second by edward del toro and marco garciawhile the third place was taken douglas brea and Hector Brugera. To end the awards, category C, obtaining first place was Richard Bonilla and Asdrubal Delgado; the second ryan lopez and Maximo Gomezwhile the third diego almonte and Guarocuya Guzman.
As part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, the players donated a contribution to the fDivine Providence undationwho run a home for the elderly located in higuey non-profit that provides accommodation, food, care, medicine and funeral services to those most in need. The group explained that for the 2024 cup, the entire tournament will be focused on improving the nursing home.
Cana Rock Golf Cup 2023 had the wide participation of entities such as Blue Land Corporate Group, RD Real Estate Offer, Bello Valdez Enterprise, Echenique & Asociados, Giacobbe Asesores y Gestores, Dominican Properties, Emri Paradise Property and Management Group, Taco Bell, Grupo Mejia and Christopher, Altronand Porto Valencia.
