Punta Cana, La Altagracia. The Tortuga Bay Puntacana Resort & Club hotel was awarded as Best Boutique Hotel in the Dominican Republic at the Caribbean Boutique Hotel Awards 2023 from Caribbean Journal magazine.
The hotel, designed by the renowned Oscar de la Renta, was elected by the readers of the Caribbean Journal newspaper and the world’s leading experts on trips to the Caribbean who chose the best boutique hotels in the Caribbean region.
This year all the winners were awarded Caribbean boutique hotels, located from the Bahamas in the north, to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao in the south, which received more than 50 thousand votes from Caribbean Journal readers around the world.
“Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, our readers have spoken,” said Alexander Britell, editor and publisher of Caribbean Journal.
“Being selected for these awards by Caribbean frequent travelers is an exceptionally high honor for boutique hotels that exemplify the best of Caribbean hospitality,” said Britell when evaluating the selection of the winners.
