Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – Spanish engineering and development firm CLERHP Estructuras, S.A. has secured a USD 15 million line of credit to accelerate the construction of Larimar City & Resort, an ambitious smart city project projected to deliver more than 8,000 residential units in the Punta Cana region.
“This financing marks a major milestone—demonstrating strong market confidence in CLERHP and the transformative impact of Larimar City & Resort,” said Juan Andrés Romero, President of CLERHP.
Listed on BME Growth, CLERHP confirmed that this new credit reinforces its financial position and highlights its leadership in sustainable urban development across the Caribbean.
The credit facility, approved by Mercantil Banco, S.A. in Panama, will fund phases 1 and 2 of the residential complex. According to the company, this move reflects international financial trust in CLERHP’s operations while strengthening foreign investment flows into the Dominican Republic.
Expanding Financing and Global Reach
In addition to the credit line, CLERHP has launched a USD 75 million bond issuance program on the Panama Stock Exchange (Latinex). This initiative, executed in partnership with Mercantil Servicios Financieros Internacional and Quijano & Asociados, aims to diversify capital sources and enhance the company’s financial structure.
Together, these two financial operations allow CLERHP to fully fund the first development stage of Larimar City & Resort and enter a new phase of international expansion, backed by solid support from global capital markets.
