Sistema Punta Cana has kicked off a special series of commemorative events in celebration of its anniversary and Musician’s Day, unveiling a program that blends art, talent, and social impact for audiences across the Punta Cana community.
On Friday, November 22, the court at Bávaro Innovation School will host a powerful Side-by-Side concert featuring more than 200 young performers. Orchestras, choirs, and guest ensembles will share the stage in a large-scale showcase that highlights the transformative role of music in local education and community life.
Earlier in the week, the teaching artists of Sistema Punta Cana presented a special performance at Brönch DO—the cultural café at BlueMall Punta Cana—from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The intimate, celebratory evening featured standout moments, including an electrifying electric-violin performance by instructor Omar Suniaga, honoring the creativity and dedication that define the program’s pedagogy.
The festivities will conclude on Saturday, November 23, at Downtown Mall Punta Cana with a free concert by the Caribbean Brass Ensemble of Madrid, presented in honor of Día del Merengue. This international event aims to encourage cultural and educational exchange while strengthening ties between Dominican musicians and their global peers.
Through this anniversary program, Sistema Punta Cana reaffirms its leadership in the Caribbean’s cultural landscape—championing Dominican talent, nurturing cross-cultural collaboration, and showcasing music as a bridge of unity, learning, and hope for the next generation.
