Punta Cana— Downtown Punta Cana has just expanded its cultural and tourist offerings with the opening of Dominicania, an innovative immersive venue designed to showcase the history, art, identity and folklore of the Dominican Republic.

The project brings together more than twenty representative Dominican brands in an interactive environment where both locals and international visitors can enjoy sensory and educational experiences. Throughout the visit, guests are taken on a journey that spans from Taíno roots to Dominican traditions, music, handicrafts and the everyday products that shape national life.

Conceived as a bridge between heritage and modernity, Dominicania blends cutting‑edge technology with contemporary museography and interactive exhibits that invite people to touch, listen, observe and participate. The result is a safe, family-friendly space where visitors can discover, experience and connect with the core of Dominican culture.

According to its president, Ricardo Bonetti, the venue was created to present “the best of the country” through experiences that both educate and move the audience. Meanwhile, Benjamin Ben-David Bonetti describes the project as a living tribute to what it means to be Dominican, highlighting and honoring the cultural expressions that define the nation’s identity.

The initiative has generated more than one hundred direct jobs, boosting the local economy and strengthening the tourism offerings of the Bávaro–Punta Cana area with an authentic, high-value cultural proposal.

Dominicania is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and offers special rates for residents, locals and children, making this experience accessible both to the Dominican community and to the many travelers who choose Punta Cana as their destination.
