Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. – RIU Hotels & Resorts announced a new policy aimed at strengthening security and improving the guest experience across its resorts in the country. From now on, only tourist transportation companies officially registered with the Dominican Association of Tourist Transport (Adotratur) will be allowed to enter RIU properties to provide transfer services.
According to the international hotel chain, Adotratur is the entity responsible for maintaining the updated list of authorized operators. This measure ensures an organized, transparent, and reliable transportation system that safeguards visitors from potential risks while also streamlining resort operations.
RIU emphasized that entry for unregistered or unauthorized transport providers is strictly prohibited. The company stressed that the policy is designed to protect tourist safety, avoid disruptions, and maintain high service standards for guests staying at their resorts.
In an official statement, RIU Hotels & Resorts reaffirmed its ongoing collaboration with both local authorities and industry associations:
“At RIU Hotels & Resorts, our commitment is to guarantee safety, quality, and transparency in every service we offer. By enforcing these transportation regulations, we strengthen trust among our guests and maintain the excellence that characterizes our five resorts in the Dominican Republic, highly rated by both local and international visitors.”
With this new protocol, RIU continues to position itself as a leader in Punta Cana’s hospitality sector, prioritizing safety, trust, and the overall travel experience of every guest.
