Santo Domingo.– Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) has been awarded “The Best of DR 2025” in the Services category, a recognition that underscores its role as one of the Dominican Republic’s most influential organizations. The accolade, presented by Mercado Magazine, was accepted by Giovanni Rainieri, Director of Airside Operations, and handed over by Sarah De Moya, Sales Director of Mercado Media Network.
The honor forms part of Mercado Magazine’s annual special edition, The Best of DR, which highlights leading names in gastronomy, entertainment, arts and culture, shopping and fashion, sports, business, and services.
Rainieri dedicated the award to the airport’s staff and travelers, describing it as a reflection of PUJ’s commitment to “continue connecting dreams with our future.”
Organizers of the 2025 edition emphasized that the recognition celebrates individuals and organizations whose work inspires, influences, and strengthens Dominican society, while also showcasing talent that resonates both nationally and internationally.
